From the winter semester 2017/18 to the winter semester 2023, refugees who were eligible to study were able to apply for a free place on a course at the state-recognized Studienkolleg Halle-Merseburg at Merseburg University of Applied Sciences (SKHM). Thanks to the DAAD-Integra funding program, which is financed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, refugees were able to attend the Studienkolleg free of charge. We are proud that we have been able to prepare over 300 refugees for studying at German universities at the SKHM as part of the DAAD funding.
